Curriculum

Edurne Irisarri graduated as an Industrial Engineer in 1998 and has been a lecturer in the department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineeering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 1999. She is currently doing her PhD within the Control, Automation and Robotics Engineering doctoral program at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Her research area involves industrial automation and, in particular, control programming. Some of her research interests are focused on compliance standards within the area, and adopting software engineering concepts in automation (i.e techniques based on models and markup language).  She is co-author on several talks presented at important international conferences in the area of industrial IT and automation.
